Our Story

Resonate Boise was planted in August 2018 with a clear mission: to reach college students at Boise State University with the truth of the gospel. Our church began with a team of primarily post-college men and women who encountered Jesus during their own college years and committed their lives to helping other students experience a genuine relationship with Him.

Boise is one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation and is home to a university of more than 26,000 students—nearly 95% of whom are not engaged in Christian community. While Boise is often viewed as having a strong, church-going culture compared to other cities in the Northwest, we meet students on campus every week who are in need of a personal, life-changing relationship with Jesus.

From the beginning, we have sought to meet students where they are by gathering on Sunday mornings in the heart of campus, making the gospel both accessible and visible. God has been exceedingly generous to Resonate Boise, and we trust that He will continue to build His church here in Boise and wherever He may lead us to plant churches in the future.
