konnor & chelsy massa

CHURCH PLANTERs IN TRAINING | CAMPUS MULTIPLIERS MOSCOW, ID.

Konnor and Chelsy had their lives changed on the college campus through Resonate Church while they attended Washington State University, and they have leveraged everything they have to see college students’ lives changed ever since.

Both Konnor and Chelsy became followers of Jesus in their teenage years, but it was when they arrived at Washington State University that they began to understand God’s desire for disciples to be made of every tongue, tribe and nation. While they attended university, they pioneered a ministry working to reach international students who had little or no access to the Gospel in their home countries, and spent their summers doing work to reach people in some of the most unreached parts of the world. Upon graduation, Konnor and Chelsy both moved to reach college students overseas–where they met before moving to Moscow as COVID-19 lockdowns began to shut down the country where they lived.

For the last five years, Konnor and Chelsy have reached college students at the University of Idaho. There, they have led small groups, trained and coached leaders, and had more students spend time in their living room than they can count. In addition to this work, Konnor ministers through preaching on Sunday evenings, as well as serving on the local board of Elders, and Chelsy works to manage a team of people across the West who create content to tell the story of God at work across all the churches in the Resonate Collective. It has been their greatest joy to see students at the University of Idaho come to know Jesus, be taught to obey all his commandments, and to send them to get the Gospel to the rest of their generation.

The Massas are currently preparing to move to Reading, UK, where they will work to start a church among international students, and British college students that they hope sends leaders to plant churches all around the world.
