While I wasn’t raised in a Christian home, my faith story began in the Spring of 2021, my freshman year of college at the University of Idaho. I came to a point where I realized that there had to be a God and that I wanted to turn to Him, but I had no idea who He was, how to follow Him, or anything about His son, Jesus.

The next year, I studied abroad in Spain and bought my first Bible. After reading the Gospel of John in the beautiful Spanish town of Bilbao, I began to understand who Jesus is and knew I wanted to follow Him! As I was preparing to come back to the states, I knew I wanted to get connected to a church and I reached out to one of my sorority sisters who brought me to my first service at Resonate Moscow at the start of my junior year!

Deciding to follow Jesus in college changed my life and getting connected to a church helped me become a disciple, begin to make disciples, and encouraged me to do things that would strengthen my faith. One of those things was a 5 week summer discipleship program in San Diego called “Elevate” that I got to attend as a student in 2022 and as a leader in 2023 and 2024!

As I neared graduation and was deciding what I wanted to do after graduation, I began to consider joining staff for Resonate! I had a deep love and desire for college students to meet Jesus and decide to follow Him just like I did and decided that I wanted to be a part of meeting students, sharing the Gospel with them, discipling them and watching Jesus change their lives! I joined staff as a Missionary in January of 2025 and am loving my job!
